The Macedonian Enterprise Development Foundation (MEDF), on December 25th 2009, in hotel Stone Bridge in Skopje, officially signed agreement for financial support to the Macedonian Chambers of Commerce (MCC), for the purpose of implementation of the new Strategic Plan of MCC. |

ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR
The Macedonian Enterprise Development Foundation (MEDF) is one of the organizers of the selection for most successful entrepreneurs of micro and small enterprises in Republic of Macedonia, within the traditional event – Entrepreneur of the Year for 2009. The event took place in co-organization with the Macedonian Chambers of Commerce, Ministry of Economy, Agency for Promotion of Entrepreneurship, Center for Entrepreneurship and Executive Development, Business Start-Up Center, European Business Association and the Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia. The final promotion took place in hotel Aleksandar Palace in Skopje. |

Awarding the most successful micro and small enterprises
“The award is an evidence that all invested efforts fro achieving world values were not futile and that our country values true qualities as well” – stated Kristijan Danilovski, one of the managers of the production house FX3X, the winner of the first prize for most successful micro enterprise, in the framework of the event Entrepreneur of the Year 2008, held on December 11th 2008 in Hotel Aleksandar Palas. The Macedonian Enterprise Development Foundation (MEDF) selected for the third time the Macedonian Enterprise Development Foundation (MCIC) as the Management Institution, for the period from 2008-2011. The selection was made by the MEDF’s Board of Trustees, on the basis of the professional, organizational and financial capacity of MEDF. |

Promotion of designs for innovative bicycles with business functions
On April 29th 2008, on the location of the main square “Macedonia” in Skopje, the event “Queen’s Day” was organized, under the slogan “Refresh Yourself”. The event was organized by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Skopje (EKH). The main theme of the event was promotion of the bicycle as alternative transport means, in order to protect the environment and support the businesses. |
